OUR MISSION
The mission of Moving Forward Carolina Foundation is to support graduating high school seniors in rural areas seeking a college or technical education by providing financial assistance through scholarships in order to give them a head start into life after high school.

WHO WE ARE
The Moving Forward Carolina Foundation works to provide scholarships to Carolina high school seniors. We aim to ensure that our students are recognized for all of their hard work. We acknowledge the importance of a post-secondary education and strive to assist in the cost of education.

Our organization consists of a diverse group of members with ties to Carolina. We have one board and three committees consisting of a total of 21 members. Each member has the desire to give back to the community.
OUR SCHOLARSHIPS
Making A Difference
MILDRED H. GERALD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
Here at the Moving Forward Carolina Foundation, we understand the importance of a college education. We will be awarding one scholarship to a student who plans to attend a Historically Black College or University to continue studies.
CHARGING FORTH SCHOLARSHIP
The Moving Forward Carolina Foundation understands the importance of quality education after high school. We will be awarding one scholarship to a Northwood High School Senior who has demonstrated a passion for serving Chatham County and plans to attend college or technical school after high school.
CAROLINA TEACHERS OF TOMORROW SCHOLARSHIP
Here at the Moving Forward Carolina Foundation, we believe educators mold our future generation. We will be awarding 1 scholarship to a High School Senior in Chatham County who plans to pursue a career in education after attending college.
